Mobile, AL.–For 43 straight games, the LSU Football team and their fans have had one man start at left tackle. That man, Ciron Black finished his last duty as an LSU player in the Under Armour Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
Since arriving in Mobile last Monday, Black has been working with NFL coaches and scouts as they evaluate him for the upcoming NFL Draft. “They had me playing at tackle and at guard to see where I would be best at,” said Black. The South squad was coached by Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano and his coaching staff.
Black who holds the record for most snaps taken in LSU history admits it will be tough to never wear an LSU helmet. “It’s going to be hard man. It’s been four long years and it’s just going to be another step I got to make.
The South would end up losing to the North 31-13 in large part to MVP Mardy Gilyard from Cincinnati.
